Wirenet Customer Support

Where do I go for support?

Where do I find recent status information?

What are the latest versions of the software?

THOR: The latest version of Thor is 2.4, to upgrade you need these three files

thor24_main.lha(818K)The main archive
thor24_inet.lha(224K)The Internet functions
thor24_arexx.lha(130K)Updated arexx scripts
Unpack the first and run UpdateThor. This will install Thor 2.4
The installer will ask you for the inet and arexx archives and unpack them as required. For internet access you don't need the BBS modules, so answer no to this question during installation.
There is a pre-release of Thor 2.5 for registered users only. You can get it from the Thor home page.

AWeb:The latest version of AWeb is 2.1

AWeb is now a commercial package. Version 2.1 is available from Blittersoft Tel: 01908 261466 email: bsoft@wildnet.co.uk

You can download a demo version of AWeb 2.1 (444K) from here.
To use this with the Wirenet package, run the AWeb installer and select AmiTCP: as the directory to install in. This will create a directory called AWeb21DEMO. Rename your old AWeb directory to AWeb.old and then rename the new one to AWeb

The WWW button on dashboard will now start the new demo. You may then delete your AWeb.old directory, after first copying your hotlist to the new directory, plus any arexx scripts you may have installed.

AmiFTP: The latest version of AmiFTP is 1.814

To update, download the new version and run the included installer.
ClassAct: The latest ClassAct release is dated 8-May-97.
It is important to always use the most recent classes, as all of the above programs rely on ClassAct to a greater or lesser extent. Download the archive and run the included installer, it won't overwrite any files unless they are out of date and need updating.
Wirenet: Wirenet.Guide
The latest Wirenet.guide is dated 22-May-97. The main difference is the addition of some technical information and addresses.
